The 1% dashboard

One question
What three controllable actions (done consistently) would move the needle fastest?

One lesson
Champions are built in the margins. A light dashboard that tracks lead measures (not just lag results) creates steady, compounding gains.

One thought
If it’s small and repeatable, it’s scalable.

Build your 1% dashboard (one page)
Domains grid: Skill · Process · Focus · Recovery · Environment · Communication

  1. Scan opportunities (10 ideas) : Tiny moves only (≤15 minutes to execute).
  2. Pick three for this week :One per domain row if helpful.
  3. Define the lead measure : What, when, how often. Example: “Daily 10-minute pipeline triage at 8:30.”
  4. Set proof of progress : A simple count or checklist, not a narrative.
  5. Friday review (12 minutes) : Keep / Start / Stop; pick next week’s three.

Examples

  • Focus : 25-minute deep-work block before Slack.
  • Process : Pre-meeting briefs with options and a recommendation.
  • Communication : End-of-day “done list” to stakeholders (three bullets).

This week
Create the one-page grid, choose three lead measures, and book Friday’s 12-minute review. Protect it like a meeting with your future results.
